In October of 2010 we coordinated with Cultural Survival to initiate a Global Alert to prevent mining in Wirikuta. If you have not already done so, please participate in this important campaign and send a letter to the Mexican President and his Ministers of the Environment and Economy. A chronological history of what has occurred can be found on our page dedicated to news about the struggle to save Wirikuta, where we have posted news articles, videos, and documents.
